Yoda Soda

Man I've so busy with all this stuff lately. Getting ready for San Diego, work has been picking up a lot lately, and a slew of projects on the side I'm slowing getting together. In the middle of all this I did a little drawing of Yoda last night while I was going through my old animation reel from school. I really liked the idea of using Yoda, but the concept didn't quite come together as well as I hoped. So to make it up to myself I redrew one of the keys I had made but with a lot more rendering. Its funny how you can look back at your old work and really see the progress you've made in such a small amount of time. Hope you guys enjoy. I'll try to post a little more in the next few weeks. Happy ID4!

WOW BIV!!! You know I've always held you on high, but this is amazing. Thinking back about that animation, I can only image it with this newly developed exageration and personality. You've got to show me how you do that texture brush painting. I really dig it.

Peace,
Joe

I love the way you blended the red in there, also his eyes are awesome...he feels more alive than the real Yoda.
