New Site Design

Im currently in the process of updating my website. For right now Im going to update my blog every now and then, but it the site must come first. So, enjoy the blog and I'm taking the site down soon. Appreciate the support from everyone. Peace!

Batman+Clayface

This is a batman piece that I did a few weeks ago. Me and Joe took the same reference pic and interpreted it into our own image of batman. We decided to use clayface as the subject if you know what the creature coming off of his hand is. I liked how it turned out. Played with the colors a lil bit in photoshop.

Just did this one for fun of Hobgoblin. Now I have to do Spider-man!

I did do another boxer. I almost forgot about this one. How ironic, dont you thing?

A Gathering Promos

These were some of the promotional brochures that I made for San Diego for a potential comic book and my friend Joe were trying to pitch. I didnt get it together in time for printing but hey there's always next year. Hopefully by then I'll have at least one issue done. Start praying lol.

update: These are somemore designs for A Gathering. There was no name for it at the time and the story was orginally meant to be an animation piece but is now reworked for comic book form. The lion is totally redesigned and looks a lot more menacing and better drawn in my opinion. These were from like a year ago, and my skills have dramatically increased as i continue to become a better artist. I'll post some more sketches of the new lion design and give more info about the project.

Hello to everyone who reads this ( which isnt much. lol). I have just gotten back from a week long trip to Boston for SIGGRAPH 2006. I had lots of fun, and was a great experience. Talked to lots of people in the industry and going was inspiring to me. The website is finally finished (somewhat lol) and will update soon. Scanning just takes so long to do. This is a painting of 50 cent from many eons ago. Lol.

It has been a long time coming, but my website will finally be up and running very very soon. Also a relaunch oh this blog so i can make almost daily updates with news and sketches of my stuff. Sorry people that i haven't posted anything in a while. Ive been real busy wit school, and plus my scanner/printer is out of commission. Ill try to post something as soon as possible. Until then, here's an old pic of a komodo(?) dragon that I did a while back.

one of the same marker studies from before, but forgot to post. I really like how this one turned out.

messing around with some markers after looking at steven silver's sketchbook, and wanted to do some marker renders after a long time of not drawing anything. school takes a lot of my time. for the most part they turned out pretty good. the warrior didn't quite turn out like i wanted it to.

a monster character i saw in an issue of wizard a few weeks ago that i decided to draw. also a messed up scanning of a dragon that i did in blue col-erase pencil. i should've inked it.
