Just messing around with a new way of cartooning. I admit, doing the rendering stuff at work and freelance is really paying off. I Kind of like the direction some of these pieces are going. I promise I will start uploading stuff more often. Just been really busy is all. Check back soon.

Art Submissions!

Hey guys, these were some of the submissions I did for Spectrum and Expose 9. I didn't get into neither of them, but the experience and rush of putting something together and submitting was worth the challenge. Maybe next year I hop will turn out better, but until then, I'll just keep pushing these babies out! Dont forget to check out the Sharkboxer pages I did with Paper Dog Studios! Ps the colors are awesome!

It was a really cool experience all the way through and Im really blessed to be apart of it. Take care.

UPDATE: i just realized i already posted the Goddess of Time one before, but I still want to post them all together

SHARKBOXER PAGES!!!

Finally Im able to post these in full color. I hope you all have a happy and blessed Easter. I just made some last minute tweaks on these this past weekend with Joe and Ford to make it in for Heroes Con later this month. Joe Karg wrote the story, Adam Ford did the layouts, I did the initial pencils/inks and finished colors, and Carlos Villagra did the final inks. Im so proud of this project and I hope you dig the pages. Leave a comment if you would be so kind and take care and God bless.

Goddess of Time

This was a submission for Spectrum that I did. Didn't get in unfortunately but had a good time submitting anyway. This was my first time submitting to Spectrum and finishing a final piece in years, so I made a few strides this year so far. Just more motivation for next time. Hope you guys enjoy and comments are always welcome.

Messing around some more

Just messing around again with another piece. I've been drawing a lot of warriors lately. Don't know what that's all about.

These are usually how my sketches go sometimes. Some cool stuff here and there but no clear story. Ill try to put something a little more coherent up next time.

AWA (aka its been too long)

Its been a long time since I've posted anything. I have been super busy with work, freelance, and a few surprises that I'll reveal soon. I am super excited about the projects I've got on my plate and I can not wait to share some of my experiences, my achievements, and my disappointments. I thank God every day for the journey I am embarking on, and I appreciate all the love and support from family, friends, and from every day strangers.

I recently just attended the Anime World Atlanta con this past weekend and had a blast. Me and my good buddy Eric, had an incredible time and I hope there's more to come like it in the future. I managed to pull a couple of illustrations together for the my booth and I can not thank enough all the support from just random people, who really appreciated the work I did and their generous comments. Quick shout out to Diana Chen, who recommended I should attend the event. I admit I not the biggest enthusiast of anime, but the ones I do love, have definitely had an influence in my work and my life. From the fast-paced and mythology of Naruto, to the detailed subtlety of human emotion and epic scale of the beauty of nature in the films of Miyazaki; the works of Japanese animation has shaped the way we perceive art from other cultures. Anime has definitely been catalyst, at least for me, to broaden my horizons of how imagination can create something different and new. Their are so many stories that have been untold and so many new techniques to be discovered in our little artsy fartsy community.

Anyways, before I get too long winded, I wanted to share these pieces of Goku from Dragonball and Totoro from My Neighbor Totoro. Two characters that have shaped my childhood and even influenced the way I see the world through my art. I hope you guys enjoy and be on the look out for more things to come soon. I promise. Be happy and be blessed, and I'll clock in soon.
