Hope everyone had a really great Thanksgiving. I wanted to share with you all, a new project called Cantankerous. If you have been checking out some of my post on deviant and my portfolio blogs, you would've seen some comic pages. Those pages are the start of my new project with writer Joe Karg and my former teacher and awesome illustrator Elio Guevara. This project has been a labor of love for the past 2 years, and we decided to use Kickstarter as a platform to get the ball running. I am so proud of the work we have done, and looking forward to the upcoming illustrations. The first phase, is the art of book. This book will be a collection of all the drawings, designs, layouts, and boards of this project. As an added bonus, we have a few contributors to the book as well who will be explaining their process when creating new worlds and designs. Selected from different angles of the entertainment industry; gaming, film, and television to name a few, will provide their insight and procress when creating new images. I am so excited to announce Marcelo Vignali from Sony Pictures Animation, as well as character artist and buddy Bryan Wynia from Sony Santa Monica, Archer art directors Neal Holman and Chad Hurd, Academy Award-winning director Ryan Prows, Claudio Acciari, Jorge Gonzalez, and last but certainly not least, illustrator Mike Brown who painted the amazing slip case cover for the deluxe edition book. If you art fans out there love projects that delve into the process of art making, cool and awesome interviews from some of the leading artist of our generation, and amazing designs, please please support and head to Kickstarter and lend a helping hand to get this project off the ground.

Appreciate your support and wish us luck!
God bless,
Chris Bivins
