AWA (aka its been too long)
Its been a long time since I've posted anything. I have been super busy with work, freelance, and a few surprises that I'll reveal soon. I am super excited about the projects I've got on my plate and I can not wait to share some of my experiences, my achievements, and my disappointments. I thank God every day for the journey I am embarking on, and I appreciate all the love and support from family, friends, and from every day strangers.
I recently just attended the Anime World Atlanta con this past weekend and had a blast. Me and my good buddy Eric, had an incredible time and I hope there's more to come like it in the future. I managed to pull a couple of illustrations together for the my booth and I can not thank enough all the support from just random people, who really appreciated the work I did and their generous comments. Quick shout out to Diana Chen, who recommended I should attend the event. I admit I not the biggest enthusiast of anime, but the ones I do love, have definitely had an influence in my work and my life. From the fast-paced and mythology of Naruto, to the detailed subtlety of human emotion and epic scale of the beauty of nature in the films of Miyazaki; the works of Japanese animation has shaped the way we perceive art from other cultures. Anime has definitely been catalyst, at least for me, to broaden my horizons of how imagination can create something different and new. Their are so many stories that have been untold and so many new techniques to be discovered in our little artsy fartsy community.
Anyways, before I get too long winded, I wanted to share these pieces of Goku from Dragonball and Totoro from My Neighbor Totoro. Two characters that have shaped my childhood and even influenced the way I see the world through my art. I hope you guys enjoy and be on the look out for more things to come soon. I promise. Be happy and be blessed, and I'll clock in soon.

These pieces are awesome.
I am glad you do not hide the fact that you were influenced by anime...as many other professionals do. Its almost nowadays like admitting to liking sesame street to kids in our elementary class...(every one would look at you different). Its not bad to be influenced by something society thinks is not up to par with Disney or Marvel, or up to par with some...crazy awesome classical painting. Because the world will keep changing. So I am glad you are finding your own voice...with these amazing paintings and works of art. Keep on rocking.
It was fun dude! Next year we'll be better prepared!
great fan of your work!
