I was in the Christmas spirit and wanted to do a night scene painting so I put two and two together and created the 3 maji scene. I like how it turned out. Sorry I havent posted more of my story in a while. Still trying to get settled in the new place. These are some ideas and sketches for the 3 main pirate crew and the other soldiers for ship; some peter pan and hook, and tic toc the crocodile. I cant believe how old these are. The designs have really come a long way since these were put together. Hope you enjoy! More on the way.
Something I was playing with after work. I found some new brushes for photoshop that Ive been messing around with. Getting some really cool effects and it's freeing up my hand a lot with the different textures you can get. I love doing faces sometimes. So iconic like a poster for a movie or something. You really connect more with the character that way. The next one I'm going to do a full body just to bring it all together. Done moving now but now I have to get my car towed! Crazy. Started taking another direction with Hook this go around. Had to make the character more sympathetic. Feels like so long ago when I did these designs. Lol. Just had to move so things got kind of messed up over on my end and my computer caught a bad virus so I havent been able to back up everything yet. Hope you guys have a good one. Enjoy.

Man just flew back from comic con and boy are my arms tired! Lol. Lame joke I know. I had a really fun time. Got to see a lot of artists, met new friends, and got to take pics with Pikachu! I tried to meet as many people as I could, but there was just so much to do and see that I couldn't get to everything in time. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to go next year. Hey guys. Its Friday and I'm waiting for traffic to die down at work. If you didn't know, today is the 40th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr's death. I think we as Americans take for granted what he has accomplished and the movement he stood for. I was listening to the radio this morning and they played a clip from the one of his speeches. Man, what a moving piece it was and made me think a lot about what it must have been like back then. It moved me so much that I wanted to do a little piece to commemorate it. It took me a lot longer than I planned but I'm glad I did it. Enjoy and I hope you all have a good weekend. Take care!
Man its been a long month! Birthday coming up, work was crazy, and been working on my new portfolio. Been trying to keep up with the madness and in the process, made this dragon creature. I like the gesture of it a lot but took me awhile to get it how i wanted it. Feel like Im loosing it a little bit. Gotta hit it harder then! Enjoy and have a good weekend.
