Stage 2

First few layers of my painting. Im learning a lot about oils just from doing this first painting! Its really exciting and I hope it turns out like how I see it in my head. Ive already done some painting to it already and I'll post that in a few days along with some other paintings Ive been working on.

This is another painting that i started on just today. This is just a charcoal underdrawing right now that i plan on putting the finishing touches on later. The other painting with the beast looking character is in the first few layers of the ol' oil process. I'll post it in a few days. Later

Stage 1

This is a new painting i plan on doing in oil. I just started this today while i have a lil time off from work for labor day. Im starting to post different phases of each of my art now for achiving purposes and to just see my progress. Its supposed to be a beast looking character with a glowing light shinning behind him. I didnt want to put too much detail in it for right being that this will be my first real oil painting in like 12 yrs! I think im going to add something in the top left corner next to his head to complete the composition a lil more. Hope you enjoy!
