Uhhh... Frustrated!!!
Haven't been at it on the painting in a minute. I was a little frustated yesterday with one of the other paintings I had started, so I went to town on the last illustration board in the garage. My weapon of choice; my good ol' sharpie. I think the last session was really interesting. A big change from the initial underpainting. Im anxious to see how it finally turns out. Comments are always welcome.

Ive already done some painting to it already and I'll post that in a few days along with some other paintings Ive been working on.

Stage 1
This is a new painting i plan on doing in oil. I just started this today while i have a lil time off from work for labor day. Im starting to post different phases of each of my art now for achiving purposes and to just see my progress. Its supposed to be a beast looking character with a glowing light shinning behind him. I didnt want to put too much detail in it for right being that this will be my first real oil painting in like 12 yrs! I think im going to add something in the top left corner next to his head to complete the composition a lil more. Hope you enjoy!

Batman+Clayface
This is a batman piece that I did a few weeks ago. Me and Joe took the same reference pic and interpreted it into our own image of batman. We decided to use clayface as the subject if you know what the creature coming off of his hand is. I liked how it turned out. Played with the colors a lil bit in photoshop.
